We were very sad to hear of Ollie's recent sudden passing. We were very sorry to have missed his funeral. Ollie worked in the past with Mervyn's Uncle Sam. Ollie was a lovely neighbour, always a friendly word and smile. We will miss him from Lawcus..
— Mervyn & Elizabeth Harper, Lawcus, Stoneyford
Hello, my name is Carole. The eldest of Bridget Ryan's (Bee) children. On behalf of my brother David and sister Teresa, I can honestly say it is heartwarming to read all your memories of Ollie. To confirm what we always knew. A kind, caring and humourus character. He would liven a room in seconds. Losing him so suddenly was a shock and one his sister Teesie finds hard to understand.Thank you all.
May he be resting in peace. ❤

Ollie was one of life’s
quintessential gentlemen.
His infectious smile allied to his
jolly disposition was always so uplifting
for all those who had the privilege of meeting and encountering him.
He was a marvellous story teller
and would keep one enthralled when regaling same.
He especially loved his home.
His house and garden were a credit to him.
He loved Stoneyford and he
loved his life.
He was also
a very kind and obliging man,
There were no airs and graces
about Ollie,
He was an authentic human being and was so deeply and profoundly respected by everyone.

Elaine and I were so saddened
to hear of Ollie’ recent passing.

We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Ollie’ family at this time of great sorrow and loss for them
.
Ar dheis de go raibh a anam dilis.
