Dear Mrs. McCooey,
I wish to express my sincere condolences on the death of your daughter. I was saddened to read about it in our Mercyhurst news offering condolences to your sons. I know we only met and spoke briefly when you were here on campus but I remember your kind smile and the conversation we shared. Again, please accept my sympathies and those of the dance dept. here at Mercyhurst. May God hold you all and grant you peace.
— C. Noelle Partusch
