Last Sunday morning we were all so sadend to hear that Owenie passed away he was a pure gentleman and a very good friend of the family I had the honour of being trained and coached by him I also played with him. In 1976 I was a selector with him on the intermediate football team. Owenie was a very shrewed selector. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him and especially the active retirement group in later years. We will all miss his lovely singing voice. May Owenie rest in peace
