Paddy Lonergan

My sincere sympathy Ann to you and your family on your very sad loss. Paddy and my uncle Tim were friends when they both worked in London many years ago. I contacted Paddy after my uncle passed away in 2016 and enjoyed many good phone conversations with him since then. Paddy came across as a true gentleman. Unfortunately we never got to meet and I’m saddened to find he has passed away. May His gentle soul Rest In Peace.

I have so many fond memories of working behind the bar and the banter on a Saturday race day with Paddy and the locals was second to none. I’m not sure was he winding them up, or them winding him up - but many’s the laugh that was had.
A great businessman. A great boss and great to all his locals.
