Deepest sympathy to Collette, Claire, Emily, grandson Lucas Pàdraig, brothers Denis, Richie, John, aunt Eileen, former colleagues in St. Brogan's, on the most unfortunate accident that led to Paudie's death.

Paudie was loyal friend for over 40 years. Both of us were Rural Science Teachers.. Both of us were respective Runaì's in Cork & Kerry Voc. Schools. Paudie was PRO in Meath, Munster and All Ireland Voc. Schools Games.
Paudie was Munster Runaì & Rumaì of the Munster Post Primary Schools.
In 1981 on a visit to Davis Col., Malliw re Exams, the late Sean Cooney said to me " George - we had a great guy here the past year, he came from Navan, his name is Paudie Palmer, he is from Templenoe, he is marvellous, we are expecting great things".

Paudie did outstanding work promoting Vocational Schools games raising the profile to the highest level. He embraced technology but back in the day it was the School Secretaries from Achill to Arklow and from Warrenpoint to Waterville came to know Paudie on the phone,
Paudie was always professional, about his work, meticulous, a good listener to other people's ideas and views, amicable and more.
He will be sorely missed by a group of many committed Gamesteachers who had the pleasure & privilege of working with such an outstanding person.

Definitely
"Ni Bhèigh a Leithèid Ann Arìs"

May Paudie's gentle soul Rest in Peace.

We shall miss his interactive conversations, his positivity and his easy ability to achieve progress. His enormous understanding and input in the integration process of both schools bodies (Colleges and Vocational) into the Post Primary Schools was much appreciated.
