Mr. Griffin was my leaving cert business teacher. I think of him as someone who played a big role in shaping my worldview. His teaching methods were exceptional. Not only were we truly prepared for the exams but he also always made sure that we understand how to apply all the theory in the real life.

I was really saddened to hear about mr. Griffin passing away. May he rest in peace.
— Maciej Grabowski
Mr. Griffin taught me briefly when I was in transition year. He had such a passion for business that two years later I was still inspired to study business at third level.

A particular moment that I remember that I felt reflected the man well, was when we were watching an excerpt from a business- related reality show. One of the male contestants had looked one of the female contestants up and down in a derogatory way. Mr. Griffin stopped the video immediately and spoke to the class saying that that behaviour and attitude was not appropriate. Mr. Griffin made sure the class knew that that wasn’t ok.

Having known Padraigh since he was a young boy spending hours in the barracks yard playing ball little did we know what a great talent he would turn out to be . Even as a young boy he was always so friendly and down to earth. You couldn't ask for nicer neighbours than the entire Griffin family. Deepest condolences to Padraighs wife and kids and to Mark and the extended Griffin Delaney and ODonovan families from the Jennings family McCurtain Hill. Rest In Peace Padraigh. Clon will never see your likes again.

Condolences to Padraigh family on his recent passing. It was more the u21 football grade I saw Padraigh play, he was
unmark-able back then. A class above the rest.

Speaking to people over the last few days people are genuinely saddened to hear the news, people that didn’t even know him.

The family now have the difficult journey ahead to mourn his passing. I’m sure something you really won’t ever get over.

Rest in peace
— A GAA supporter
It was indeed with great sadness that I was informed of Padraighs passing . As a great footballing friend of his father - the great Pat Griffin he was so chuffed that his son Padraigh was an outstanding Clonakility footballer and was expected to obtain further success with the Cork team . But it was his association with his local club Clonakilty that gave him most enjoyment in winning of 2 Co Championship. The passing of Padraigh will be a great loss to the community at large and especially to his wife Debbie and young sons Alex & Jack May I offer my deep condolences . I witnessed him as a young player and he had all the ingredients to be an outstanding person / footballer .
Reas in Peace Padraigh
