Dear Mary, Iain, Al and Mike. We are truly blessed to have known Páid. His energy and positivity radiated everywhere he went. He was a gent and had such a lovely manner, especially with the kids. He is the template for what a "club man" should be, always supporting his fellow members and officers, be it on official club duty or over a few casual holes. I never knew him to miss a Captain's Drive In. He will be greatly missed but always remembered.

May he Rest in Peace.

As a former colleague of Páid’s in IDA, I am very sorry to read of his passing and I would like to offer Mary, Iain, Alastair, Michael as well as all the family my sincere sympathy. Páid, myself and all our colleagues were privileged to work together in IDA and to make our contribution to Ireland's economic development.

I know that Páid carried out many overseas assignments helping other countries with their development and so his career will have left an honourable mark in several parts of the world. I hope that will be a source of consolation and pride to you and the family at this sad time and after.

I apologise that, due to a hospital appointment, I will be unable to attend Páid’s funeral but he, Mary and the family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

With renewed sympathy and kind wishes,
