So sorry to hear the news of Pats passing and to have missed the funeral. Pat was very good to me many years ago when I moved to Athlone and was looking for employment. I had many an enjoyable breakfast before work at the house where I was always made feel so welcome by him and all the family. Marie and family our deepest sympathies to you all at this sad time. ….many condolences to you All there, during this sad time with the passing of Pat, from your dear friends in New Zealand. Really lovely, to see the Funeral, Celebration of Pats life and to hear the music he played. I will always be glad that both you and Pat visited us in NZ and later Pat on his own. We had a great time. I will never forget Pat. To Pat, I say... now settle down and rest in peace... this is your time.
