I would like to sympathise with the O’Brien family on the passing of Pat. He was a wonderful man and was blessed with infectious enthusiasm, kindness and positivity. I always enjoyed hearing his yarns about when he was Secretary of Bord na nÓg and my Dad was Chairman. They were a great partnership - two true Gaels who did trojan work for Carlow GAA.
