So sad to know about Pat's death. I remember Pat and his wife. My father Thomas (Tolly) Cleary plastered his house in Monadreen years ago. Pat was involved with the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association. He was such an inoffensive and non-judgmental person. He was genuine in his Roman Catholic faith. Sincere sympathy to The O' Donnell family on the death of Pat. When Pat worked for Custom and Excise at Slievenamon Road, Thurles, I worked in the same Building. When he used to go on pilgrimages to Fatima he would ask me to collect his post and keep it until his return. He would always bring me back a religious gift. May Pat rest in peace.
