Pat - You were one of a kind, an inoffensive character, full of knowledge & wit. A hard worker who toiled quietly & unassumingly on your farm, in the school, church & wider community. You will be greatly missed by your PPC family & so many more.

May the wind be always at your back.May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

It’s with great sadness that I and on behalf of the CLoonboniffe Drama Group convey our deepest sympathy
to you Paul & Siblings and cousins on the sudden death of Pat.
Pat has left a huge void in our community and as a personal friend also. His commitment, work and dedication to the community was outstanding. Pat joined the drama group in 1986 & has been an outstanding cast member performing in many plays & playing his character so good, hence bringing laughter & joy to young and old.The group took a play to America in 2001 and Pat was so proud meeting all his cousins there. He updated his mother on a daily basis with the events in America .Maureen was so proud of him on stage as we all were. The memories live on and we’ve lost a community gentleman, gone to his heavenly reward long before his time.
At Dheis Dè go raibh a anam .

I was so sorry to hear of Pat's illness and now death. My memories of Pat date back to my teenage years and Pat's childhood when he accompanied me (on his little bicycle) part of the way home after I got off the school bus. He was a delightful child, full of the joys of the world. Meeting Pat on every trip home was always lovely. Listening to his voice when he read at Mass was a rich and special experience. Pat embodied all that is great about rural Ireland, especially the Cloonbonniffe community and the world in general. Rest in peace Pat.
