When I first joined the Readers, now Ministers of the Word, in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, many decades ago, Paddy was already an enthusiastic, sincere and committed lay minister. At the same time, his love and devotion for his wife, Mary, later in a wheelchair, was an example of true devotion. I have been privileged and blessed to have known Paddy and to have been a Reader alongside him. Tony.

Siobhan, Philip & Orla - sincere sympathy to you at this very sad time.Your Dad was quiet, courteous, considerate - he was the ultimate gentleman. We have very fond memories of Mary & himself being so involved in Mount Sackville P.P. Bridge Club - which Mary set-up to raise funds for the St. Joseph of Cluny missions. For many years, they drove from Rathfarnham to Castleknock/Blanchardstown each week to run the club. At our parties etc., Paddy's singing was much appreciated - he had the voice. We are privileged to have known him. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Siobhan, Philip, Orla and extended family,

We have had the privilege of living next door to Paddy for nearly fifteen years. Paddy was a fantastic neighbour and friend.

We enjoyed many conversations together in our gardens (he always loved being out in the garden) or over a glass of wine (he enjoyed that too!).

You should take comfort in knowing that Paddy left a lasting positive impact on so many people that he met in his long life.

He was a remarkable man and our family will remember him with great fondness.

With deepest sympathies,
— The Glover Family
