I only heard today from our mutual friend Anne Canning of Paddy's sad passing. My deepest and sincerest sympathy to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. With time the pain and grief that you are feeling now will ease but the happy memories that you shared in your long and happy marriage will always remain with you.
I have met him on a number of happy occasions. He was kind , gentle and very good humoured.
