My deepest sympathy to Anne, Sarah and all the family. He really was the kindest gentleman. The first time I met Pat, he was collecting Sarah from somewhere in town I think. His time was cut short but as Fr. Éanna said today... it's the quality of his time with us that we will all remember - and he made that count.
We knew this lovely lovely man separately though Toastmasters and Terenure College Chapel ministry.
Pat always made sure to take your hand for a handshake to press home his sincerity.
The apples do not fall far from the tree and your send off as a family today was just beautiful - well done - he can be proud of you as you are of him.
