I have fond memories of growing up with Brendan and Pat in Foxford in the 1950s. I met up with all of them again a few years ago at a funeral here and it was so lovely to go down memory lane and recall our youth. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Sarah asked if he’d drop me to the bus stop....he insisted on dropping me all the way home to Wicklow near Enniskerry! We had such lovely chats in the car and I was just blown away by his kindness. We knew this lovely lovely man separately though Toastmasters and Terenure College Chapel ministry.
Pat always made sure to take your hand for a handshake to press home his sincerity.
The apples do not fall far from the tree and your send off as a family today was just beautiful - well done - he can be proud of you as you are of him.
