The sadness of those present was reflected in the silence that descended as the hearse drew near. No words spoken, some tears shed, some hands held while all the while a solemn quietness filled the air, a sense of disbelief that all were gathered to say goodbye to Pa. A beautiful mass delivered so well in the saddest of circumstances. For those who loved Pa, keep him close in heart and he'll be never far away.
