From the first day I met Patrick in Bosco’s to the last day in St. Declan’s, the one thing that stands above all else is the ever-present smile on his face. Always so fun and good natured. He’s also responsible for the funniest school day of my and many of my classmates lives, when we went to see Macbeth in the theatre (that’s a story for another day).

The last time I saw Paddy was a few years back in McGrath’s pub when he came over to say hello and we ended up chatting for nearly an hour as he entertained me and my family. I’ll cherish that memory more than ever now.
