Grandad, I miss you every day, and most of all I miss our chats in the garden. You were my best friend we shared the most interesting and engaging chats that I will cherish and never forget. You were the funniest, most caring man that anyone could ever meet, your smile was so comforting and gentle. I love you and will miss you forever and always grandad 🤍

Grandad,
I will never forget you, the memories we shared, our chats, your life lessons and advice and you always telling me how proud you are of me. I will carry all the advice you gave me and pass it onto rhea when she needs it and don't worry she will never be bored because I will do all the activities you done with us. I wish it wasn't like this but I understand that it was your time to go. You were the greatest grandad, father, friend, story teller, pancake maker and counsellor. You'll be forever missed but never forgotten, remeber grandad your bloody marvellous - love you forever and always lorna

Deepest condolences to the Lovett family on the loss of Paddy. He was a brilliant tradesman and his kind manner meant that any apprentice working with him, learnt from the best. Lucky enough to work with Paddy from 1987- 1999. A great dry sense of humour and a decent man. RIP Paddy

My grandad was the best man on earth 🤍

He was full of wisdom, compassion and love which he shared with us all on the daily. He always had a story to tell and when he did we would be all ears. He had the sharpest whit and the driest humour which only those who knew him would understand.

Deepest condolences to my lovely Aunty Marian and the Lovett family. Pat was such a gentleman and a kind soul. I'll remember him fondly and will never forget all the lovely bowls of rhubarb I enjoyed thanks to him growing it in his vegetable plot. He never forgot to send some down each year. I was lucky enough to spend a portion of my apprenticeship working with Paddy around Ireland and In Germany and I learned more from him than I did from anyone else. Not only in relation to the trade but his whole philosophy on life and people was a massive education to a young lad. A gentle, funny, intelligent and most of all thoroughly decent man deepest condolences to his family who I am sure will miss him terribly..
