Dear Emily and Ita, I was so sorry to hear the sad news about Pat. I have such lovely memories of you all growing up. We loved being asked to "pop down to Emily and Pat for messages." Pat always had a smile and a friendly word - and such patience as we tried to decide what to buy with our pocket money! Thinking of you both and the extended family during this sad time. Sincere condolences on the passing of Pat. My parents ran the shop next door to him and Emily's shop. He was a gentleman and was always very kind to us growing up as children in the area. I have very fond memories of the shop because of its rustic layout.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Pat’s passing this morning RIP and sincere condolences to Aunt Emily, Ita, all the McEvoy & Dolan families, relatives near and far, as well as the many friends who shared his joyful company over his lifetime. So many happy memories to treasure of helping him in his shop and singing and dancing at family parties as he played the accordion, delighting us in the joy of his music.
May knowing that Uncle Pat has now arrived home in heaven on this feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus bring deep consolation to all who are grieving at this sad time and may the Spirit bring the gift of peace and comfort to all whom Uncle Pat leaves behind.
