Patrick has been a loyal and supportive friend and neighbour since the early 60s when we both cycled to school at Oatlands College.
His good and calm nature will be missed by all who knew him.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Patrick. I had the pleasure of his company at the beginning of March at the Irish Masters Open dinner in Fitzwilliam where we recalled many squash stories and squash friends. May he rest in peace.

Leinster Squash are saddened to hear of the passing of Patrick Murray. Patrick was a long time member of Fitzwiliam LTC and a member of the Council of Leinster Squash for many years where he held the role of Leinster Squash Masters Representative, organising the Masters Leagues and tournaments. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and competitors in squash. May he rest in peace.

It was with deep sadness that I learned of Patrick's death. One of life's true gentlemen, who provided great encouragement and support to myself and many other squash players at Fitzwilliam. Rest in Peace dear Patrick you were a kind and decent man. You were the first person I played squash with in Fitzwilliam and immediatly encouraged me to play league. You gave unselfishly time, encouragement and hospitallity to countless aspiring squash players over many years.
