So sad to hear of the passing of Paddy. A massive loss to his family, neighbours, friends & the Parish.Known and respected so much as a great teacher from his days in CBS & CS in Cashel.His love for history and the way he passed it onto us students stayed with us for a lifetime to which we are so grateful. He also played a massive role for us growing up in B.D juvenile Gaa Club.Up to U16s Paddy was one of our first Mentors /Managers and helped us with skills , attitude & to be gracious in defeat. He touched many lives along the way and was a gentleman , firm & fair in his dealings with people. He leaves behind a legacy as a great worker & contributer to the Parish of B.D.

Sincere sympathy to John, Mary and the extended O'Dwyer family on the sad death of Patrick. He has certainly touched the lives of so many that he taught in Cashel over the years, instilling in them a love of history and learning. I am reminded of the scripture quote from the Book of Daniel, from last Sundays reading at Mass,...which incidentally, is the "epitaph" on the headstone of Séamus & Máire O'Bric in Killenaule, also two tremendous teachers for many years in Killenaule. "They shall shine like stars forever and ever those who instruct many to righteousness." May Patrick rest in peace in the presence of God.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Margaret, Fergus, Brenda, Kevin and the extended O' Dwyer, Gleeson and Kennedy families on the terribly sad passing of Paddy. I unfortunately hadn't the pleasure of meeting Paddy very often since moving to Germany but I remember him as a kind, friendly, unassuming and gentle person. It's very sad that Paddy cannot read all the wonderful things that so many have written about him but it will hopefully help to somewhat ease the pain and loss you are all feeling right now. May he find the peace and eternal rest that he deserves.

My deepest sympathies to the O'Dwyer family. I was fortunate enough to have Paddy as a history teacher in Cashel CBS many years ago. His passion and his love of teaching and history had a great impact on me. I remember even one time he lost his temper with us, quite rightly so, and later apologized to us. That is the type of man he was. I have only very fond memories of his class, and I was very very sad to hear of his passing.
