As a kid I used to try and score goals against Paddy in the old slanted St.Patrick’s field which was just below where he lived on his farm. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and every time I met him I said….“how’s Limerick’s Greatest ever Goalkeeper”…..and Paddy would smile. May he rest in Peace.
