Paddy loved Kilkee all of his life, be it striding the Strandline, watching the summer sunsets, and he was a great supporter of our summertime Talks series for many years. Paddy was always great company, a thorough Gentleman, and a dear friend to all who knew him in Kilkee.

It is with great sadness I have learned of the death of my dear friend Paddy today. He was a true friend since we were children. I will miss him dearly as he was my partner in memories as we reminisced on our childhood days in Limerick over lunches at St. Paul's Nursing Home. My deepest sympathy to all his family at this time.
