Dear Bridie, James and Mary, I am sorry to hear about Paddy’s passing. He was a dear friend to my mom and dad and I have many fun memories of him visiting us on Sickles Street. He even babysat all 7 of us. He said it was easy. He’d turn off all the lights, and put the television on. One smart man! I hope and pray that he is having a cocktail in heaven with Mike and Pauline and I hope your memories of him will continue to give you comfort. Please be in touch when in rhe States. Love Bridie Walsh

So sad to read of Pat's passing. We go back a long way. We won the Westmeath Juvenile football championship with FORE in 1949. We hurled together for Westmeath, although we were opponents in Club, Pat with Collinstown and I with Castlepollard. Recently we would meet on occasion in Tesco Castlepollard and recall past times. Rest in the Lord old friend.
