May you rest in peace Paddy. I remember the crack and slagging and the rows of course we had on crew 11. We worked for a good few years under our friends Al and Jimmy. Pat Hickey and I were known to slip off down to Drumcondra to make the dinner (Paddy didn't know how to use a pressure cooker, I did, so the spuds didn't take too long). One of the times Pat and I changed the damaged dashboard on his car when we were on overtime while the Moose ( Dan Doolin R.I.P.) would keep us covered till we snook back through separate doors. One of the things that I remember most of all is that Paddy gave me and lots of other guys the confidence to work at our jobs and have a laugh as well. Thanks for that Paddy.
