First met Pat sept 1963 when I left Baldonell I did not meet again for 20 years He accurately took off my cork accent also Chris Timmons from Roundwood I thought it was fairly accurate and it was confirmed when I was at home recently and I heard my brother talking who never left the home area Rest in peace Pat and sympathy to all your family

I have fond memories of him when he was a customer of mine in the pharmacy in artaine castle and then in recent years at school pick ups in St Fiachras. He was such a lovely man, always ready for a chat and great for the jokes. May he be reunited now with your mam whom he spoke so sincerely of. RIP

Pat and I attended National School in Borris in the 1950s.
We met again at Dublin Airport 7 years ago after my daughter wedding at Borris House.
A great school pal and always a gentleman, like his Dad Joe.
