Our sincere sympathy at this time to all who mourn the passing of such a wonderful gentleman. To Mary, Ann, Jim and the extended family, we are so sorry for your loss. Pat was a gentleman, always so happy and kind even while dealing with his own illnesses. A very popular man amongst residents and staff, everyone loved to chat with him and hear his stories. Pat was an entertainer, many a time he belted out a tune on the guitar or sang some of our favourite tunes, most recently demonstrating his new found passion for the harmonica. We never saw Pat without his tablet, searching for song lyrics, looking up old places of interest in London or simply listening to some of his favourite Irish music... he was forever teaching himself new tunes on his various instruments or requesting copies of song lyrics that he would use at the various parties. Pat was definitely the light and soul of our home, putting a smile on the faces of all those who had the pleasure of meeting him. His positivity and strength were inspirational, nothing ever got him down. Pat it has been our pleasure to get to know you and we hope you are entertaining everyone up there. May Pats gentle soul rest in peace.

Such sad news to get over the last few days... there are no words. Paddy you were one of life's pure gentlemen, one in a million and the most fantastic friend to so many. It had been such a pleasure to get to know you over the last while, you made all our days that bit brighter with your infectious smile and beautiful singing voice. I will never hear the auld triangle in the same way again. Paddy it was an honour to have you as my friend, someone I trusted wholeheartedly and had so much time for. You were always looking for jobs to do or things to fix and asked for the most random of objects to fix them with! We had great laughs and in recent times great cries together too. The only comfort we have is that we got to spend Christmas with you this year and I know you were delighted to be with us too. I hope your at peace now, playing the gob iron up there and listening to your music as you always did. Our loss is heavens gain. Rest easy friend 💔
