Growing up with pat was wonderful always an adventure somewhere along the line and risk to be taken laughs to be had and as we entered teenager years and early adulthood it was always great worked together for alot off years and eventually like everything else in life we saw less and less off each other he ran his own business and did never failed to help if i needed him he was extremely gifted along with his father whom he worked along with in their shed and would always be welcomed to cuppa tea in coshla pat will be missed by so many may he rest in peace sleep tight to one off the best

So Sorry to hear of Pat's passing, my deepest sympathy, to the Lardner Family May he RIP.

I am completely shocked at the loss of Pat as I only heard the news today. He was the absolutely classical 'Gentle Giant'. He truly was a giant of a man with the kindest of hearts. Always willing to help you out whenever help was needed and never hid away from any challenge. A brilliant fabricator and welder. I have such great memories working with him in the Czech and in Cashla. A man gone way too soon.
