Claire, so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. I remember when the family lived on Collins Ave., we lived on Oak Road, you will probably remember that we had 5 children which included twin girls who used to play with your girls. Sadly my husband Noel, passed 5 years ago.
I remember when you moved to Waterford and your cat made his way all the way back to
Dublin, and Pat had to come back to get him. That story is still doing the rounds.
Condolences to all the family.

Auntie Claire and all my cousins. My Uncle Pat was a huge part of my growing up. He was so much fun and gave of himself so readily. He was a larger than life character and a True Blue despite shouting for Waterford for many years. Like Mark and Siobhan said, I’m sure Dad is showing him the ropes as we speak. I have so many wonderful memories that will be treasured always. This pain and sadness finds a level eventually. Take care of each other.
— Sonja & Dave

Auntie Claire and everyone
Mum rang earlier to tell me that Uncle Pat has passed away and I just want to say that if I could at all be there I would - He is a huge part of my growing up memories - he gave me my first digital watch off his wrist in our front room cos I said I liked it - i loved his company, esp with dad and his dub accent never left him - generous, funny, irreverent - he had it all. Im so sorry for you all but treasure the memories as he was definitely one of the goodies and as Siobhan said, he’ll be grand with dad up above looking down on he all. I’ll say a prayer for ye all. All our love.
