Sincere sympathy to the Kiernan family on the passing of Patsy. I got to know him when I was involved with the Dublin hurlers in the late 90's. Patsy was an ever presence in Parnell Park. Everybody was welcome to come to the kitchen for a cup of tea and a few biscuits. The players loved and respected him for his dedication and his sense of humour.He was a wonderful human being.

One of the greatest & nicest Gaa people has passed away. Patsy was instumental in getting Scoil Fhursa under Parnell’s Gaa patronage & support when he approached Jimmy O Grady & myself in early ‘70’s. What a man , what a legacy! Derek and all the Kiernan family, sincere condolences on the death of Patsy, one of the unsung heroes-milkman, but it was as an unseen social work to his elderly customers that he will be remembered. Patsy always knew those who weren't well and thought nothing of doing shopping for them after his milk round. GAA to his fingerprints and always a gentleman. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I was lucky to join Parnells club and so many great people but most of all to meet Patsy. He became a great friend and a great support to me. We send some great days other football field but most of all he looked after me at disciplinary meeting in parnell pk we had some craic.
