Deepest sympathy to Madeline and family and to Helen, Maria and Brendan on the
passing of Toddy. I have many great memories of him stretching back to our early
days in Garrydoolis N.S, Serving mass in Templebraden as we responded with heads
down in our best Latin, seeing him riding bareback at great speed on the family cart
horse and dismounting like any good cowboy at the Post Office . I was delighted to meet him by chance on Day 1 of the Luas in 2004. Toddy was a wonderful character,
always entertaining alway fun and much loved. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Knockane GAA Club would like to extend it's sincerest sympathies to the Lonergan family on the sad passing of 'Toddy' . A great charismatic character, everyone loved to catch up with him and spend time in his company when he returned to the parish. We were always proud to hear of his accomplishments and he in turn always carried his native colours with pride. A huge loss to his family and his community and to the wider communities, he and his family will always be very fondly remembered and never forgotten in our area . Ar dheis Dé de raibh a anam ! Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.
