We remember Patsy's great sense of fun, his laugh, welcoming ways and interest in all of us and our lives. From the condolences we also see how much he gave to his community through his work with the Guards and GAA and the many people he came in contact with in Tramore.
Our thoughts are with Peggy, Martina, Fiona, Olive, grandchildren and extended family. We will miss him and remember great times. From the Brophys in Australia. RIP Patsy.

Sincere condolences to all the Flanagan family and many friends of Patsy. Patsy was one of a kind, as genuine and honest a man you could ever meet. Patsy's passion for life and GAA was truly contagious. He was always so encouraging win, lose or draw. He was truly one of a kind, and his presence will be deeply missed across the community. Thank you for everything over the years Patsy and your legacy will live on. RIP

I was very sad to hear of Patsy's sudden passing. My late Nana, being 'Old Tramore' knew Patsy's late Dad, Nicky from her childhood. I got to know Patsy in 1986 through the GAA in Tramore. He was always a wonderful person to speak to and work with at Committee level. While he had a huge passion for Tramore teams, my putstanding memory of him will be that he was always a very kind gentleman. His legacy in life is huge whether it be a fantastic family man, GAA player, coach and administrator, Garda, local businessman and just generally a really nice man who always enquired as to the welfare of those he conversed with and their loved ones.
To Peggy, Olive, Martina, Fiona and all his loving family, please accept my sincere condolences at this sad time.
— Brian Howard, Ashbourne and formerly Tramore

Sincere condolences to all the family on the passing of Patsy. Devastated to hear the news. Patsy was very good to me in my playing days with Tramore. In the bleak years he would still give the players and management his support. We’d have a drink after the matches, Patsy, Brendan Reddy, Pog… and he was well able for the lot of us and he was great company. He told me great stories about my own grandfather that I didn’t know. He was a kind man who’d seen it all. I used to look forward to his company after travelling for a match.
Thinking of all the family.
— Stephen Goggin
