It was a rare privilege to have known Paul. Your reflections on his life today were a fitting tribute to a 'fear ann féin'. May the joy Paul brought to all of our lives continue in the eternal party that he is now hosting. Our city and indeed our country have much to thank Paul for. As he would be described (as a huge compliment) in South Kerry, the land of his hero, Daniel O' Connell, it was wonderful to know such a 'thundering rogue'! Ar dheis Dé Paul.
