He was a dedicated family man, active in the community and was also great company. I enjoyed grabbing a few pints in the Brit and exchanging stories and plans as we did on several occasions.

I was very sorry to only recently hear of Paul’s death and his battle with cancer. I have many fond memories of our time in Trinity - many lectures, labs, lunches and 'occasional' pints together with Paul and Brendan. I offer my condolences to Brendan and John, who I know directly, but also his other siblings and of course his very own family in the US. Although we lost contact, it was great to catch his memorial service online, see his lovely family and hear the many great things he did with his life. Paul was a good guy, died far too young and I'm very sorry for the loss you must feel. Rest in Peace Paul.

It is with great sadness that I have heard of Paul's passing. He was a great friend of mine in Trinity College Dublin where we attended the same class and hung out together. The memories are as fresh as if it all happened last week. Sincere condolences to Paul's family and friends in California and Bray. Thinking especially of Father Brendan, his inseperable brother-in-arms, and fellow classmate from those days gone by.
