Many happy memories from the flat upstairs. Paul always shared his Bewleys chocolate cake with us poor student. An expert on all things it. So sorry to hear of his passing. Fond memories too of his parents Aileen and Hugh.

I only knew Paul from his online presence, but what a presence he made. A kinder, gentler soul I have not met online before. Paul was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer some positive response to queries, and never seemed to get upset at anyone or anything. He will be sorely missed. Prayers to his family and friends who knew him personally.
— David Roth

I am deeply saddened by the news I have just come to hear. Never have I had the privilege to meet Paul in person and knew him only via a forum which is related to his hobby.

Over the years, I have grown to highly respect Paul for his always considerate and kind ways. He impressed me and everyone with astonishing and profound knowledge that went into the most minuscule details. His posts showed that he was a logical thinker. I enjoyed his humor, especially went on to theorize - with reason - about some absurdities put before him. He was a man of measure, attached to his beloved cats. Someone that I, that we, in the forum of which he was one of the moderators will miss and remember.

I deeply regret his passing and wish to express my sincere condolences to his relatives and his friends.

Ruhe in Frieden, Paul.
And may the Lord's light shine upon you.
