Deepest sympathy to all of Paul's family. He was a thoughtful, kind and gentle soul, and wonderful to work with. May he rest in peace.
— Maree Rowland
Comhbhrón ó chroí libh Nicole & Christopher, libhse Eileen & Ferdia ar bhás roluath Paul. I had the great pleasure of working with Paul, and a wonderful crew, some 20 odd years ago in RTÉ where "Ardán" was produced from Studio 4/Stage 5 for TG4. He was a font of knowledge especially when the topic was music. Musicians who appeared weekly on the show were always so happy with their sound-checks because they were totally reassured by Paul's understanding, interest and expertise. No nicer a gentleman to ever attach a lapel mic. There'll be no bum notes where Paul's gone! Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam agus sólás croí daoibhse atá fágtha gan é.
— Páidí Ó Lionáird

Sincere condolences to the family of Paul who we knew as an avid philosopher and fellow enquirer into the nature of things not altogether obvious but nonetheless true. He loved to explore the truth of his own higher nature in the good company of his philosophy group on Tuesday evenings via Zoom. Paul’s enthusiasm will be sadly missed by all his fellow students in The School of Philosophy. We are also grateful to Paul for organising and providing us with an exquisite recording of Handel’s Messiah performed by the choir of the Philosophy School in Donnybrook Church in 2018. A fitting legacy to a good and kindly man.
— Barry Jones
Sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy to the family. Paul was of enormous help to me and my bandmates when recording music - and even played a mean harmonica on an album. He went down on the sleeve notes as our 'guru'.
