Sincere sympathy to Pauline’s family and all the extended White and Gardiner families on the death of Pauline. She was a wonderful, decent and considerate person who was always a joy to meet. A member of the renowned Gardiner family, she had a classic Sligo style on the fiddle that she and her sister Patsy acquired from her father, the celebrated John Joe Gardiner. She was an important member of the famed Siamsa Céilí Band who blazed a trail in the 1960s when they won several All-Ireland titles. Pauline leaves a remarkable legacy in Irish music.

It is with great sadness that we learned of Pauline Passing. Our deepest sympathies to June, Adele, Barry and Brenda, also to Patsy and Kevin and the extended White and Gardiner families.
A much loved cousin and a wonderful person.
I remember when Pauline would come to Dublin with Uncle JohnJoe and Auntie Maureen for her lessons in the R.I.A.M. and call to see us. Her talent was exceptional, and admired by all who heard her play the fiddle. In later years when she would come to visit us with June, Adele, Barry and Brenda in Stiles Road and my children have great memories of playing with them.
Pauline lived a long and fruitful life, May she Rest In Peace.
