I was so sorry to hear about Peter. He was one of life's gentlemen.
I always enjoyed my conversations with him, especially discussing Northern Spain. My condolences to Peter's family.

I recall meeting Peter at Rob and Orla’s wedding and then a few days later a few of us climbing Brandon mountain together. We couldn’t believe he turned up wearing sandals and recovering from a broken ankle, yet there he was pushing through, full of energy and fitter than all of us. I remember he was a lovely man, and we all had a great time together. So sorry for your loss and may his soul rest in peace

Peter and I were near neighbours in Ballitore. We were at different secondary schools and both of us chose different vocations in life. I never met him after September 1963, almost sixty years ago. I regret this greatly. The written tributes of those who knew him resonate with energy. May he rest in peace.
