Absolutely heartbroken. No words can describe how great, funny and caring my grandad Peter was.I’m really going to miss you Grandad.Ill miss your calls,I’ll miss you coming to stay at our house and I’ll miss Christmas time with you.Ill miss your load voice and I’ll even miss u keeping me awake at night when you would blast the tv as high as the volume would go.Ill miss you making a mess everywhere, all your crumbs on the sofa.I loved taking you on holidays to Bulgaria, and all the other places when I was younger,I was quite impressed with you for an 80 year old man still getting into the pool and having a laugh.I was hoping to take you again but you were sadly taken away.My grandad had a very good life but to me it’s like a book and it’s stopped and there are missing pages at the back.My Grandads chapter was cut too short.I would do anything now for one of your sloppy kisses on my forehead with your big mustash.I was born in the England and I’ll always be British but my grandad makes me feel proud that have a little Irish in me.Ireland will always be my second home l’ll always be ‘your girl’ and you were most importantly be my GRANDAD that will never change and I will tell your stories and are memories on forever.I love you dearly and I miss you so much already.
Forever ‘your girl’
Erin Leigh
P.s I’ll keep the flag flying for you,you rest now, sweet dreams xxxxx
