Peter Griffin
Sincere sympathy to Mena and the extended Griffin family on the death of Peter. He was an amazing musician, great company and an important tradition bearer. Above all, Peter was a thoroughly decent person and always a joy to meet. I knew him for over 50 years through our mutual interest in traditional music, and he was always a gentleman. Peter was highly regarded by his fellow musicians and singers in the Irish traditional music community. He will be sadly missed by his many friends in the many interests he supported, particularly in Irish music.

There are no words for how sorry I was to hear that Pete had passed away RIP, he was such a kind loving man, and absolute gentleman, with a big smile anytime he saw you - I worked for Pete and Mena 38 years ago and like Sean so beautifully put at his funeral mass yesterday it was like being part of a family. I have great memories of the time spent with him and his family.
