Deepest sympathy to Joe, Paul, Maria & Pete on the passing of your dad, Peter, and to all the Murphy Family too.
It was an honour to have been present at his funeral mass.
What a Witness to Living Life to the Full - the recipe / instructions to achieve this, were read out at the end of his mass - beautiful, powerful words of Wisdom.
He was a man full of Faith, Family & Fun.
I have no doubt that he has been welcomed into his eternal home by The Lord, his beloved Mary & granddaughter Katie.

Deepest sympathy to Peter, Paul, Maria, & Joe and all Peter's family
It is lovely to read so many warm tributes from hundreds of people who knew Peter well, mainly as customers of his over the years. But his kindness and generosity of spirit, his instinct to make you smile and laugh was not confined to his customers. For a good number of years, Peter was a customer of mine, so the sales shoes were on the other feet. This changed nothing: his welcome, the twinkle in his eye, the genuine pleasure he experienced just from meeting another human being and sharing a laugh, a moment of joy, was as strong as ever.
The shop could be packed with customers but he still afforded time, consideration and a hearty smile to someone other businessmen might have seen as an unwelcome distraction. It is a tradition and a grace that has carried on in Peter Murphy Electrical long after he retired.
Go well, Peter. Your family are of course heartbroken – but they have SUCH memories!
