I've known Philip from that fateful night back in Feb 1989 when he was one of the 7 Gardaí on the tracks where I lost my lovely fiance David Dowd who worked alongside Philip, Neil Curren to name a few. It was with great sadness we hear of the untimely passing of our club member and dear friend, Phil Coffey. Phil was secretary of our club for a number of years and was the main man on the microphone at most of our social events and our annual vintage rally each year. We extend our deepest condolences to Phil's family and extended family.
