Phil, like he was to so many young footballers, was a great mentor to my daughter and her teammates on the Dublin and Dublin North MGL teams. His commitment to the girls' game is visible today in the extensive growth in participation numbers and awareness of the youth girl's and women's game. I will be forever grateful to his consideration towards my daughter when her father passed away. Since I heard the sad news of his passing, I have heard nothing but kind words and respect by people who worked with him or who had kids on his teams. What an amazing impact and legacy by one person. Condolences to his family. Rest in peace.

So sad to hear of Philips passing May he rest in peace , I have known Philip through the retail game for over 20 years between Dunnes and Quinnsworth such a gentleman and a great person to deal with , would go out of his way to help you out and I know how he loved the football especially the MGL and academy, thinking of you all at this sad time , he wiil be missed .
