I remember Phyllis from her days in CUH. although I did not know her very well she was always a very pleasant and kind lady to meet and talk to. At the time of her death my aunt died at the same time so just by chance I came across her death notice on rip.ie and last Sunday by chance whilst watching mass online from castleisland church in County Kerry her name was mentioned for her months mind mass. Because of these two coincidental hearings of her name and my pleasant memories of her I decided to put a note here to share my pleasant memories of her and offer condolences to her family and friends.

The phone did not answer and I did not receive a reply message. I got worried and became very sad with my mother when I knew this side.
Thank you for the help I received a few years ago when I came to Ireland as a Polish immigrant - learning English and helping me with everyday matters. Always a smile on your face and I will not forget the day when she asked for help - I had to help her pack the car with food because she was going to the barbeque grill with friends - the car was packed to the roof.
May she rest in peace.
Thank you for everything

Dear Family of Phillis. Maureen Nutt has just phoned me to tell me of Phillis' death. My deepest sympathy to you all. I tried to phone her at home at Easter (not knowing she had moved into care) and I wondered ....when she did not answer. I met Phillis and Kathleen (both great women) in Cork City in 1999 when I was at South Pres, and I felt very close to Phillis as we corresponded each year. She was indeed a really wonderful woman, so full of faith, life and goodness. It was a privilege to know her. My love and prayers are with you all. Margaret
