Heartfelt sympathy to our dear neighbour Tim on the passing of his beloved Philomena. She was an absolute lady, and the love and care shown to her by Tim -especially in the last few months -demonstrates just how exemplary a couple they were.

A person of deep faith, Philomena shared her time generously with all - here in Ireland as well as Quito where I'm sure her legacy lives on.

Little did I think when she taught me typing and shorthand all those years ago that we would end up as neighbours and dear friends - one that I sadly miss.

"There's always a time to live and be free,
A time to die and embrace eternity,
A time to cherish ones memories,
And a time to meet them someday".

Sympathy also to her sister Teresa and brother John, to her nieces and nephews, the extended O'Mahony and Lane families, and her many friends.

RIP Philomena.

I have so many memories of Phil, who was an integral part of the Irish Community in Luxembourg, interested in everything and so kind and helpful always.
Whether working on the Ireland stand at the International Bazaar; engaged in long chats about current affairs with my late husband Gerry; or even discussing brown bread recipes, Phil was great company and she will be greatly missed.
Her funeral mass was beautiful and Donal's eulogy spot on.

Tim, I was so sorry to hear of Phil's death.
You and Phil were very special people in my parents' lives. When she was a young teacher, new to town, she and her friends spent many evenings in our house on King Street. Jerry and Freddie adored Phil, even asking her to be my brother's godmother.
You both were very important in the lives of all those you and Phil taught, and it was our loss when you moved on from Mitchelstown. But you never forgot your friends here and my parents cherished your visits and loved to hear from you.
My Condolences to you and your family
