Phyllis Murphy
(née Daly)

I only learned of the passing of Phyllis, she was my tutor many years ago, but she left such a deep presence in my memory. She was so modest, as I found her to be incredibly talented in so many ways. She was a very intelligent person, and she imparted so much of her wisdom to me over the two years that I knew her. She had amazing and funny stories, she always had a smile for you. She was always positive in her approach. I was truly lucky to have known her, she taught me much more than she will ever know. I'm very sad she has passed, and I will light a candle for her and her family at this very sad time.

My deepest condolences to all the Murphy and Daly family at this very sad time. Phyllis was a very special lady who brought such happiness to all the students she supported. She was also a super colleague and she will be missed dearly. Michelle Moran NLN

I had the privelege of knowing Phyllis and seeing at first hand her wonderful work with the young boys and girls in Belize ,Central America.She was an outstanding teacher,and always so kind ,understanding and good humoured .She cared especially for those who were struggling and found studies difficult.Her contriibution was immeasurable and on behalf of all,I say Thank you Phyllis and God reward you.Outside of the classroom ,Phyllis was the most generous ,happy go lucky person ,who endeared herself to everybody with that infectious smile and lovely greeting for everybody.We miss you Phyliss and will never forget you.Hasta pronto companero.until we meet again ,rest in peace.Fr Tony
