Professor Kieran TAAFFE

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dear Kieran. I am currently in Muscat, Oman and therefore had not heard of Kieran's passing. I had planned visiting over the past few years but never quite managed to do so.

We had good times when working together at DIT.

Very sorry to hear - belatedly - of Kieran's recent death. Have warm memories of his companionship in UCG in 1962/63. Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam.

I had great pleasure working with Kieran, in Kevin Street. He was a true gentleman and his contribution to third level education in DIT/ TUDUBLIN, was enormous. He was a man of great generosity, intellect, wisdom and foresight and we will miss him dearly. Our condolences to his family and wide circle of friends.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Kieran's death. He will be remembered by his many Sigerson friends from NUIG in the 60's. We will miss him. Rest in peace.

Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Kieran. He was an inspiration in DIT. He was a good leader/companion in many DIT related activities, both academic and sporting. I will miss him.
