It was shocking news for all of us and we can imagine what your state must be. Raji was a studious student in our class and always remembered for her sweet smile and her voice modulation like a tune. I was so happy when I heard the news that our class love birds, Venky and Raji got married and blessed with Ritvik, whose name is a combo of Raji and Venky. I am sure Raji has passed all her love, knowledge and memories to Ritvik during her time and may Venky get all the strength to take it forward with Ritvik. May her soul rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear of Raji's death. She was such a pleasure to work with and get to know: always so willing to help, and -as others have said- she had a smile that lit up a room. She showed such courage and dignity in facing and fighting her cancer. I sat beside her once at the funeral of a colleague's family member, and was very struck that day by her deep reverence and respect for what was being marked. Thinking of you and Ritvik as you grieve her, and all those who will miss her. May you find comfort and strength at this really difficult time.
