My sadness to hear of the death of Mr. Barry is based in the wonderful memories he provided to all Park Singers. What great days we shared with him and Mrs. Barry on concert tours.
My condolences to Emer and Órla and Mrs. Barry especially and the boys too.
Himself and Mum and Dad are now together kicking up their heels with the choirs of angels.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Go gclúdach Dia sibh uilig.
— Muirghin Creamer
So sorry to hear of Ray's passing - he was an absolute gent and lovely to spend time with. We did a number of shows together over the years in KMS and I've many fond memories of him both on and off stage. Heartfelt condolences to his wife and family.
— David Claffey
I only belatedly learned of Ray's sad passing and recalled the craic we shared in the dressing room and on stage with KMS some years ago. A lovely man in every sense. By coincidence, our mothers were best friends in Phibsboro and our brothers sang together in a band, so it was a great pleasure to follow the families' tradition by sharing the stage with Ray! My deepest sympathy goes to his wife Fionnghuala and family.
— Joe Swan

Sincere condolences to Fionnghuala and the Barry family on Ray’s death.
I will forever have very fond memories of Ray. He was always good natured, fun to be with, witty and wonderfully mischievous. He truly was ‘one of nature’s gentlemen’.
Ray was a beloved member of Kilmacud Musical Society for many years, serving on Committee and excelling on stage. He exemplified the ‘Spirit of KMS’ in everything he did.
We were privileged and delighted that he stayed close to our ‘KMS Family’, after he left the stage. Sadly, KMS has lost one of its own today and I have lost a dear friend.
Rest easy Ray.
— Billy Andrews
