So sorry to hear of Ray’s long battle with illness and his untimely passing.
I am grateful to have visited Ray and Katie in April last year.
Such a gifted piano player, I can remember, as a young teen, listening to the muffled sounds of Ray’s skilful and joyful playing through the walls of our house and regretting having spurned the opportunity to learn to play myself.
Sincere, heartfelt condolences to Katie, Brian, Eóin, Síle, Ciarán and Rays grandchildren, family and friends.
The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains.....
— Ronan Hogan, Mary FitzGerald & family
A true gentleman and a great human being. One of life’s great leaders; never hesitant at speaking the truth or calling it as it was. We missed the Welsh game, I will always regret that. Proud to call you friend; you will be missed. Have a good journey.
— Mike Jones

Singing together in the choir. He loved music so much and
Was very knowledgeable on all types of music. We will miss
