"There's a great spirit gone"
Dearest Alan. You were one of the kindest and most beautiful men I have known. I trust you are now enlivening the discussion in Heaven, and I am sure there are many old friends who are delighted to be with you once again. I shall miss you deeply, and not least your wonderful and indefatigable sense of humour. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

A man whom I met in Dublin many years ago, he left a lasting memory with me. May he Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
With deepest sympathies and remembrance of happier times. Rest in Peace Alan.
Deepest sympathy to Collette, Louise , Owen & Alan. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
My dear friend of thirty years.
Rest in peace
